Cannot connect to a published semantic model from Power BI Desktop

Basically this, as it's explained in this known issue, which should be solved, but we are still affected.

I have the latest version of Powerbi Desktop Version: 2.137.1102.0 64-bit (October 2024) and yet every time i try to connect to a semantic model from powerbi desktop i am thrown with an error message:

Now i am the Powerbi Admin and i checked in the tenant area to and i do have majority of the item enabled 

so i am unclear why i am facing that error?

am i missing something?
