Cannot Sort by Column with Direct Query

Hi, I have a Chiclet slicer (see image).

I created a Sort Order column so Red appears first, then yellow, then green, then gray.

Then I sort Project Health by that sort order.

But I cannot do it because these fields are from a table brought in by DirectQuery.

Can you suggest a workaround?
Thanks!

@Anonymous , You should be able mark a sort column in case of a direct query

Thanks @amitchandak. That worked. It failed before because of the circular reference, but I fixed that.
