Cannot Import Data from SSAS in Power BI
Hi mdaamirkhan,
Whats your system configuration? And did you try changing memory cache size in File --> Option --> Data load and load again?
Also try loading with low (sample) data..
My system configuration screeenshot below. I have tried to re-load data which is not works. My system is not under any domain will it that reason is not working.
FYI the gateway has nothing to do with connecting the desktop app to the source, only for setting up refresh within the cloud service to on prem data sources.
As for not being under any domain, please see the following:
I have unstall the gateway and install again and also cinfigure tha. Then when upload teh report it saying could fine gateway screenshot below: What is the solution now
Where did you install the gateway?
You do realize that there is a TON of documentation on how to set up the gateway and troubleshoot it?
I have install gateway in my machine and in the same I have SSAS version 2014
You should install the gateway on a VM that you never turn off
I install install gateway in my VM and which never turn off
Have you opened a port on your VM to allow the gateway to communicate to the web?
If you tell which Port should I open and from Where ?

Not sure if it will fix your problem but at least try before asking someone to walk you through the process. Try checking other posts here, reading the msft online documentation or reading the numerous blogs/articles that have documented these common questions - Before asking any help I try to find out in google but didn't get anything. That's what I ask for help. And you replied very roughly and I think i did very big mistake to ask you for help.
- You asked what port to open. I found the information about which ports in 10 seconds of google searching. If you tried it wasn’t very hard.
- If you get in 10 second why dont You can share the link as well. Without talking too much.
