Hello team,
I have a report which somehow has a complex model due to the nature of the project and the requirements. It is a health-related project with 14 tables and a maximum of 20 columns for three tables, while others have just a few. Also, there is a table with 20+ Million records, which will keep growing, followed by the one with 1+ million records; other tables have just a few number records.
NOTE: I am using Power BI optimized for the report server, so I cannot opt to use a Field Parameter instead of Bookmarks for the dynamic axis, which is the source of many Bookmarks.

Hi @tmhalila
Performance is affected by bookmarks, elements, and visualizations, so some optimizations may help.
The act of hiding columns is neutral.
It is possible to check whether all columns are used and perhaps delete those that aren't.
Using Bravo, for example,
Incremental refreshment would also be an option that can help

This is much appreciated.
I have gone through the links you provided and realized bookmarks are part of reducing memory usage, so I can continue to use them, and the hiding column is just part of the design; it doesn't take anything in performance.
But after some troubleshooting, I found out many performance issues are due to the primary key columns for large tables, so I am working on it—many thanks for your contribution. 🙏🏾
Glad to help 😊
