Can't add cost and revenue in the same graph

Hi,

I am trying to combina two tables of cost and revenue. Both have "Land" which consists of the countries that we are active in. In table one I have various columns one of which is revenue. The layout of the document is somewhat like this:

Land

UK     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

DE     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

UK     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

UK     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

DK     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

DE     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

UK     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

NL     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

DE     COL1   COL2   COL3   REVENUE   COL 5

And so on and so on.

The other table consists of the adwords costs and if formatted something like this:

Land

UK     COL1   COL2   COL3   COST

DE     COL1   COL2   COL3   COST

NL     COL1   COL2   COL3   COST

RO     COL1   COL2   COL3   COST

DK     COL1   COL2   COL3   COST

DE     COL1   COL2   COL3   COST

Creating a relationship between the both "Land" colums does not work. It just puts up the sum of all the costs.

Hey,

not sure if I understand your question correctly, but as I understand so far, I say you need a separate table that connects your cost and revenue table like so

 Common Dimension Joining Two Facts.png

This allows you to create a chart like so

Graphic from 2 FactTables.png

Hope this gives you an idea

Tom
