Hi all
On a server i have PowerBI pointing to a SSAS cube using a live connection.
On some laptops i installed PowerBI desktop and enable users to create new reports on that cube. That works well. But..
When i copy a report created on the server, towards the laptops, they are unable to open the report:
I can not even change or view data connections. It simply does not open the report. How to get this done?

Hi @MarcoDekker
1. Have you configured the gateway for the ssas data source on the server and added the data source to the gateway, if not, please consider installing the gateway on the notebook first and then adding the gateway and adding the data source on the service. You can refer to the link below.

2. You can try to connect to the data source with SSMS on your laptop. If you fail to connect, please check whether the data source is affected by the firewall. You can refer to the following link.
