Can Power BI use R and R Studio from Anaconda?
Is it possible to use Power BI with the R and R Studio that comes with Anaconda data science platform? I tried to point the R installation to C:\Users\my_user\Anaconda3\R but I get an error that...

I'm using the full Anaconda 4.3 distribution, with Python 3, and installed R Studio through the Anaconda Navigator.
I was able to replicate that. Strange.
I ended up installing R regularly on my machine and it worked as it should. However, when I switch to the Anaconda R through the Power BI Settings, I still get that error.
Perhaps I should fill this as an issue?
You could, but I am wondering if when installing R through Anaconda it isn't doing something that it is supposed to do. Perhaps a PATH issue or a registry setting? Power BI is detecting my R installations somehow but it does not detect R installed through Anaconda.
