I know my question is crazy, but I just wonder to know if it is possible or any workaround on it.
My model will show Sales Amt in HKD or in local currency with below logic checking:
However, in my sales person comparison tab, I get two tables, 1) Sales by RSO (sales person), 2) Sales by Product Type
By default, as no RSO or no sales person is selected, both table will show in HKD.
But when I select any sales person in the first table, as it become filtering the RSO and sale person, my second table will show sales in local currency, logically it is correct, but it is very confusing as first table still show sales in HKD, but second one is show in local currency.
Is it possible to have a DAX to keep second table show in HKD unless RSO has been selected in filter panel first?
I just search it is no way to make my first table show in Local currency immediately after I click on it

Believe that the best option here is to do it on a different way create a slicer that select the currenct so local currency or $ so you would have both tables in the selection you need and not by interacting between both of them,
To what I can see the you are testing the
Sales Amt (chart) = if([Selected Currency Numbers]>1;[Sales $ (HKD)];[Sales $ (Local Currency)])
To check if the calculation is on local currency or HKD correct?
I would use your table of currency selection and make this measure instead:
Sales Amt (chart) =
SWITCH (
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'DIM-Currency Selection'[Index] );
1; [Sales $ (HKD)];
2; [Sales $ (Local Currency)];
[Sales $ (HKD)]
)
This columns checks if the selection on a slicer or table is the HKD if yes return HKD if not Local currency, if both returns HKD.
If you make our slicer being single select should get always the same currency on the visualizations.

Thanks for your reply.
I hope I can understand your solution correctly.
First, I create a new table for selecting HKD or Local Currency.
But when I choose local currency, it will show in local currency when I did not choose any RSO in filter panel.
It is quite confusing if mutli currency show in 1 table, I would like to show it in HKD when multiple currency invovle.

Hi @Anonymous ,
You already have that table on your model so no need to make it again. In the switch formula I added what is happening is as below:
select value 1 then returns HDK
Select value 2 then Local currency
Any other selection returns HDK
the values 1 and 2 are based on the ID of the table you already have in your model

Please see above file and I have do your suggestion.
But it seems not working well, as when I select Local currency, but not select any RSO in filter panel
The first table cannot display it in HKD and it will show mutliple local currency (ie, USD, GBP, EUR) in the same time.
It is confusing and I want to show HKD if it involve multi currency even user is select local currency.
But undertsand it may possible to do that. Thanks.
Hi @Anonymous ,
When I looked at your model I did not check the full model and did not realize you had several currencies.
Talking from previous experiences with multiple locations in multiple currencies, I think you can have one of two options:
