Can I create clusters with my own characteristis?

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on clustering data in Power BI using Python Script. However, I can't really understand the clustering is created based on what logic?

Also, can I do clustering by creating python script that "these specific characteristics of data" will be in Cluster 0..these will be in Cluster 1, etc? Because what I found was mostly the cluster will be created randomly..

Example,

Cluster 0- All data in Week 1 for each month

Cluster 1- All data in Week 2 for each month

etc.

It will be displayed in scatter chart.

Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous

Clustering is a technique that groups data points with similar characteristics. These groupings are useful for exploring data, identifying patterns and analyzing a subset of data. Organising data into clusters helps in identify underlying structures in the data and finds applications across many industries.
