Calulate start date from Year and Month

Hi All, 

 

I am trying create calculated column for  "Start_Date" but its giving an error as Year and month are of different datatype

 I also tried below formula but still the same; 

 

Date = 1*("1/"&'date'[Month]&"/"&'date'[Year])

@mohiniverma2704 I guess, do you have BLANKS in your [year] or [month]? If so, you need to fix that.

try like:

Column = DATEVALUE([Year] &" "& [Month] &" 1")

 

it worked like:

@johnyip  : yes, that was the case. I tried earlier and figured out I had blanks.
