Calendar starts with incorrect week no.

Hello,

I created a calendar in power BI from 2016 to 2019. The problem I have is that in 2016 it starts with week 1, but I want the last 3 days of 2016 to be week 53. Below is how I created my calendar.

Then I created my week no's.

In search of a solution I found below comment. It suggests changing the administration settings. Seems like a good idea. However, there is no such path in my BI report. Can anyone help me find the correct path to change those settings? If you have any other solution to my problem, that advice is just as welcome!

Thanks in advance!

According to Excels Online-Help the second parameter only supports values 1 and 2. But this is not 100% true. You can also use the value 21 as second parameter, and guess what – it now returns weeknumbers according to ISO 8601. As many DAX-functions are derived from Excel (including WEEKNUM()-function), this also works with DAX’s WEEKNUM()-function!

I thought you were joking, but this actually works - Thanks, this is really useful.

Other values result in an error, but 21 does retuen the ISO week number.

V-chunz-mfst,

that's it! Thanks a lot!
