Calculating MTD using a fiscal calendar

My company uses a 4-4-5 fiscal calendar and I am having trouble figuring out a way to calculate month-to-date sales with this type of calendar. Any suggestions?

Power BI Custom Period Till Date (PTD)- https://youtu.be/rQ3Z_LtxwQM

You need year period or period start date

Column
Period Rank = RANKX(all(Period),Period[year period],,ASC,Dense)//or period start date

This Period = CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL(Period),Period[Period Rank]=max(Period[Period Rank])))
Last Period = CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL(Period),Period[Period Rank]=max(Period[Period Rank])-1))

This Period = CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL(Period),'Period'[Year]=max('Period'[Year]) && Period[Period]=max(Period[Period])))
Last year same Period = CALCULATE(sum('Table'[Qty]), FILTER(ALL(Period),'Period'[Year]=max('Period'[Year])-1 && Period[Period]=max(Period[Period])))
