I have a calculated column dependent on a calculated table in ssas tabular.
When it comes to processing, I process the Fact table first where the calculated column and then the calculated table since the calculated table is dependent on data from the fact table.
Please let me know what happens to the calculated column in this way? will it be calculated or will it given the default value?
Hi @a4apple,
This is Power BI forum. Did you use this calculated table or calcualted column in Power BI?
I have tested it in Power BI, create a calculated table based on a fact table, and then create a calculated column base don the calculated table, I got the issue below:
A circular dependency was detected.
So in your scenario, please provide us more detail information, so that we can make further analysis.
Regards,
Charlie Liao
