Calculated Column to replace all non blank text values with an "X"

Hi there-

I find this community so helpful as I continue to watch videos and read how to best use BI. Is there a way to create a calculated column that will replace text values (all different) in a column with an "X" or "1"?  Another way to ask - replace all non blank values in one column with a specific text.

Try :

if(columnA<> Blank(), "X",ColumnA)
