Hello,
I need to create a calculated column ("Count" in this example) that will count the total number of instances of a value in another column (will also potentially need to filter based on other values in a row).
Here's a sample of data for what I need:
| Date | Value | Count |
| 1/1/2023 | X | 3 |
| 1/1/2023 | X | 3 |
| 1/1/2023 | X | 3 |
| 1/2/2023 | Z | 2 |
| 1/2/2023 | Z | 2 |
| 1/3/2023 | Z | 1 |
The 3rd column needs to show how many times value "X" (or Z or....) shows up in the value column but also filtered by the date (and maybe other criteria). So here, X shows up 3 times on 1/1/23 whereas Z shows up twice on 1/2/23 and but only shows up once on 1/3/23.
Thank you for your help!

Hello and thank you for providing a potential solution. Unfortunately, my company does not allow me to download files from one drive. Is it possible to just paste the DAX formula here and I can give it a try?
