When adding a basic calculated column to an existing model table, I am experiencing a strange issue.
When adding a column to factTable1 with the function RELATED(dateTable1[Day Date]), the error message says 'Can't display visual - OLE DB or ODBC error etc'. If I add a column from the RELATED table it shows ok.
I've tried changed the relationship direction, but nothing seems to work. When this DAX is put into the semantic model, it works fine but seems to be bugging on power bi desktop.
Any help much appreciated
@Anonymous , On very clear to me.
But related work from 1-M direction. Take data on M side from 1 side
if needed refer
