Calculate with one argument double the summary amount of premium

Good evening, everyone,

I have the following measure to get the insurance policy premium with the listed argument.

Assuming the Inforce date is 12/31/23, I noticed that there are double counting issues.

Given a policy with two different Endorse Expire Dates, 07/01/23 with $700 and 03/01/24 with $1100. Since the first Endorse Expire Date is < 12/31/23, the premium on 07/01/23 should be zero, the total premium should be $1100 because only the second date 03/01/24 > 12/31/23. However, the total shows as $2200.

Appreciate your help.

Dennis

Premium =

VAR InforceDay =   MAX ( DateDimension[Date] )

RETURN

    CALCULATE (

        SUM ( Data[Premium] ),

        Data[Endorse Expire Date] > InforceDay

    )
