Calculate the distribution using DAX or Power Query

Hello,
I'm looking for guidance. I need assistance in creating a dax formula that will distribute the values based on date range.

Example: 6/1/2020  thru 8/31/2020   Total  value: 6000

Output:
Date           Value
6/1/2020   2000
7/1/2020   2000
8/1/2020   2000

The calculation should be done based on monthly distribution.

Regards,
