Calculate data for next 12 months based on current month

I have a column that has the current month's profit. Based on this I want to create a calculated measure that will give me the profit with a 2% growth month on month for coming months.

My excel file has the Nov profit numbers and I am looking at creating a calculated measure in power bi that will give me the profit with the 2% growth applied for coming months. Any suggestions?

Hi @lsuresh89 ,

You could create a date slicer to select your goal date. Then use the following measure to calculate the result:

Measure =
VAR a =
    DATEDIFF ( TODAY (), SELECTEDVALUE ( 'DateTable'[Date] ), MONTH )
VAR b =
    SUM ( 'Table'[Your current column] )
RETURN
    b * POWER ( 1.02, a )

If you selected 2020-01, the result will be [Noverber]*1.02^2.
