So I am trying to calculate loan profitability based on a user input of what the loan amount will be.
I have a table like the following:
Amount of Months Rate
1 3.0
3 2.5
6 1.8
9 1.2
I would like for the user to enter the loan amount ex: $100 then select the number of months of payments ex: 3 and then calculate the loan probitability by multiplying 100*2.5 and have that amount displayed in a graph.
Is this possible with what if parameters?
All help would be very much welcomed as I am new to Power BI

Hi @ANAPER ,
Here I create a what if parameter from 0 to 1000 with increment = 1.
For reference:
Use what-if parameters to visualize variables - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Measure:
Loan Probability =
VAR _LoanAmount =
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Loan Amount'[Loan Amount] )
VAR _Rate =
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Rate] )
RETURN
_LoanAmount * _Rate
Result is as below.
