I have revenue and expenses broken out into groups. The "Amt" column is the original amount with revenue as a debit, so the signs are negative. I created a calculated column "Amt Flipped" to flip the sign for that group. This works fine so it reads more like a P&L, with revenue and expenses as positive values.
However, the built-in functionality for the grand total is to just sum up the column, which doesn't work for my scenario. Can I add logic in to handle this? Do I create my own Total row? The January "Amt Flipped" column total should be -$2.4M, adding up the same way (without sign flipping logic) "Amt" column is.

Hi @smileamile2
Please correct me if I wrongly understood your problem .
“The January "Amt Flipped" column total should be -$2.4M” ,so the value should be same with the total of Amt without “$” ?
I have another question is how did you get $2405524.14 , I tried it with the data you provided, but the result did not match .So could you provide the calculation rules ?
Best Regards
