Calculate Count with min/max filters?

Dears,

I have to write a calculate function in order to count the number of users involved.

The expected result should be a count of the first and the last user (based on column "New user").

Should I use somehow the "Index column" or there is a another way to solve this?

Please advise on this 🙂

Please refer to my pbix file to see if it helps you.

Create two columns.

Column =
VAR _min =
    CALCULATE (
        MIN ( 'Table'[Index] ),
        FILTER ( 'Table', 'Table'[New User] <> BLANK () )
    )
VAR _max =
    CALCULATE (
        MAX ( 'Table'[Index] ),
        FILTER ( 'Table', 'Table'[New User] <> BLANK () )
    )
RETURN
    IF ( 'Table'[Index] = _min, 1, IF ( 'Table'[Index] = _max, 1, 0 ) )

Column 2 =
VAR _result =
    CALCULATE (
        COUNT ( 'Table'[Column] ),
        FILTER (
            'Table',
            'Table'[Employee] = EARLIER ( 'Table'[Employee] )
                && 'Table'[Column] <> 0
        )
    )
RETURN
    IF ( 'Table'[Column] = _result && 'Table'[Column] <> 0, 1, BLANK () )

If I have misunderstood your meaning, please provide your pbix file without privacy information and desired output.
