This is an example of what I'm trying to do, is take a % of certain values and create 2 new columns. Doesn't have to be in table format for columns, can be a measure. I need to take a % of a value, they all won't havesthe same rules.
When I was trying Switch or IF, the "products" don't show as an option to include in the if statement.
Was thinking something logic something like If Products = "Bikes", Total Sales * .80, Total Sales *.20.. This would only include one product, need it to accomodate about 10 of them.
Products | Total Sales | NEW VALUE 1 | NEW VALUE 2 |
Bikes | 1000 | 80% of total sales for bikes | 20% remaining |
Misc | 5000 | no change | |
Helmets | 2000 | 90% of total sales for helmets | 10% remaining |
disregard, i found a solution
Hi @lasmithfla
The problem description is vague, I don't understand what you are trying to do.
Can you please restate the problem and provide examples of what your expected result is.
regards
Phil
