Hi,
Is there a way to use a local .CUB (Ms OLAP cube) file as a data source?
I tried but I couldn't connect. However, if I try through Excel (server name in "Connect to Database Server"), there is no problem.
Thanks.
JCA
@jcaranibar Based on my research, we cannot use a offline cube (.cub file) as the data source in Power BI desktop. In your scenario, you can connect to your SQL Server Analysis Services database directly. To connect to an SSAS MD database, select Get Data > Database > SQL Server Analysis Services Database
