CONCATENATE greyed out

It is wired but, it seems like the CONCATENATEX function is greyed out on the power bi desktop (June 2017 version). I'm using SSAS live data connection (direct query).    I want to concat a list in...

    Hi v-jiascu-msft,

     

    I have figured out the problem, it was the SSAS server version, the CONCATENATEX function works with 2016 SSAS server, therefore I have upgraded the server and it is working fine... many thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your reply.... I did try what have you suggested and restart the Power BI desktop for changes to take effect... still no luck... :mansad:

 

 

 

FYI, I'm using SSAS connect live data connection to a tabular model, I think this is to do with the SSAS live data connection as I have tried on flat file connection and the concatenatex function did work. 

 

 

I don't know how I can do this for the SSAS live data connection dataset... :smileysad:
