COLUMN HEADER NAME CHANGE PER USER - POWER BI EMBEDDED

Hello,

Your help for below definition is much appreciated in advance.

I have set of reports with tabular data created in Power BI service. For tabular data, I have used [Table] view/control that Power BI provides. These reports are embedded in Asp.Net MVC web application. So far so good.

The tabular report has columns like, Data1, Data2, etc. Different users can login into Asp.Net MVC application. For each user who uses this application, has labelled own column names per user, and are stored already in database of Asp.Net MVC application. So, User-1 has labelled Data1 column header as CarType; and User-2 has labelled Data1 column name as TypeOfCar. So, when User-1 sees the report (the power bi embedded report) then he/she should see CarType (and not Data1) as the label of table column header. Similarly, User-2 should see TypeOfCar as the label of table column header.

Please suggest how to achieve this functionality.

It is a good idea, while there is no option or setting can implement it base on my research... The following one is a similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas, you can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.

Or you can submit a new idea. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What's more, if feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
