Button to work as a slicer for multiple filters

I am looking to create something like a card visualization that works as a slicer.

I need the slicer to filter a table on a couple of different fields. (i.e. where value is "12", "13", and "14" from column "Amount", and where value is "Chicago" from column "City"). If there is a way to create a button that will run a SQL Query that would work as well on the table, that would work as well.

According to your description, your fields are in a table. When you filter one field, the other fields will also be filtered, so my guess is that you need a hierarchical filter for more precise filtering, is right?

If yes, you can get a hierarchical filter in the marketPlace.

If not, please show the visual effects you want to get, because I don’t quite understand your needs.

Thank you for the insight! I actually ended up going the bookmark route, but the hierarchical filters is very helpful. 

I had no idea about that and will definitely be using that in the future. Thank you!

Thank you! What I ended up doing was creating bookmarks that will add all the filters I needed to a table visualization. I then created buttons with an action tied to that bookmark. I made the button transparent, overlayed it on my card visualization, and grouped the button and card so I can move and resize it as one object. I also added a button with the "go back" style that will go to a bookmark of the original view, essentially acting as a reset button.
