I would like a dropdown or button that will decide how my table is sorted.
While that option is available in the ellipsis, it would be user friendly to have that option as a button where a dropdown occurred and the person selected that option.

You can do this with bookmarks, which will save your sort order to a bookmark. So you'd add two bookmarks, one sorted one way and one sorted another, and your users would be able to select them in a bookmark navigator visual. There's no dropdown option for these yet, unfortunately.
I'm assuming here that your users know they can click on a column header to sort though, that's really the preferred mechanism for changing table sorts. 🙂

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm aware of an easy way to sort, however some of the users are having difficulty remembering that. haha 😉
