Button creation

Hello everyone 

I would like to create a button that would swich the sheet i'm currently in 

for instance you could have all the filter you want on one sheet and that button wich wxould then take you do the data.

Is that a thing in Power BI already or is it planned for later ?

Hi @Whatever2,

This is available trough the new features of buttons (April 2018 update) and the bookmarks features now they made this more intuitive, you should also link this with the sync slicer in order to have a better flow between your report pages.

you can attach links of the page you want to navigate to and add a visulaisation to it.

Thanks for the tip it seems to work , but i have another issues maybe you have the answer :

I have segmentation on my first sheet and when i use the button to switch sheet the segmentation isn't applied on my linked page ( even though i synchronised them with the BI panel ) but if i switch manually there is no problem .

any idee why ?

Hi @Whatever2,

You need to check the options of Data, display and  Current page in order to make it work properly.

If you Uncheck data the slicing should keep from page to page.

You need to disable “All Data” when you create the bookmark (or uncheck it and update the bookmark you’ve already created) That way the slicers will stay in sync.
