Hi,
I want to make a button that direct me to a hidden page in the report with some extra information about when the data was refreshed and if anything went wrong in the loading process.
The end user should be able to see an error if anything goes wrong, and then be able to access this hidden page.
I wanted to use a button where the text is based on a field that has some extra info. (this field is generated in SQL Server)
In a new report, I am able to make the button with a button text funtion to display this field. But in an already existing report, this is not possible.
The field I want to use is grayed out. It is in data type and format 'Text'.
It is possible to make kind of the same thing with a card visual, but this only works if I first make a table, and then convert it to a card visual.
Can somebody explain this behaviour to me?
What can I do to still make this dynamic button work in this report?
I don't think I have edited any settings, and the table is not connected to any other tables in the datamodel.
Thanks in advance.

I added a link to the PBIX file in the original post.
Not so clear,
But you can create button, and create measure based on condition or whatever you would like to show a button title.
Like this:
I know it works with a measure, but I do not understand why it is not possible to just use the field that is already there.
It worked in another report, but not here...
@Stef_R , Not very clear. You should be able to search in box below and select
