Break X axis in scatter plot

Hi,

I am trying to break my x-axis in my scatter plot. Currently, I have a values ranging from 1K-70K, making the data clustered - seen below.

Is there a way to break the X-axis at certain points - e.g. from 20-30K and hide these values in order to make the data more visible?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous

You can try changing the x-axis scale type to Log

Hi Philip,

That is also the best solution I have come up with for now - however, this still does not allow me to manually hide certain values on the x-axis but merely changes the relation on the x-axis.

Could you think of a way to manually break the linear line? I know that it is doable in e.g. excel, as seen below:

Thanks for your help!

Hi @Anonymous

You may want to break x axis in power bi like in excel.

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI : Idea
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
