Bottom of slicer is chopped off even though box is big enough

Why is my slicer chopping off the entries? There is plenty of space.

Hover over on the top right of the slicer. You should see the " select the type of slicer" down arrow button . When you left click on this, "List" Option should be the first available option

Thank you. It worked. That is not exactly what I wanted though.  I was looking for a dropdown that went to the full length of the screen, but I guess that is a limit to Power BI?

Yeah to my understanding the dropdown size is not ajustable yet

hi @neilstou  ,

this is a drop down slicer. the space is limited as per the drop down legend.

 

Use " Vertical list" in slicer setting on the format visual to ensure the list populated the whole slicer visually.

I searched Visualizations > Format like you suggested, but I don't see the same thing you are showing there. What version do you have? Mine is desktop and we are restricted to January 2022. This is what I see:
