Bookmarks and multilevel filter
Hello everyone,
I'm encountering a problem that I'm struggling to find a solution to, and I could use your help.
I'm working on a Power BI report that presents statistical information on several geographical scales. To make it easier to read, I've set up buttons associated with bookmarks to filter the data at different levels (departmental, EPCI, communal). This configuration allows me to make selections via segments on what I call "Page 0", which is dedicated to selecting the relevant scale.
The problem arises when I switch to "Page 1", where the data is updated, but the bookmarks/views don't adapt as I'd like.
To be more precise, if I click on the "Department" button and make a selection on "Page 0", I would like the bookmark associated with the department to be displayed automatically on "Page 1".
Similarly, if I select several values via the "Communes" button on "Page 0", I'd like the bookmark corresponding to the communes to be activated on "Page 1". Each bookmark corresponds to a distinct visual view, and I want the correct bookmark to be displayed according to the scale selected on "Page 0".
To help you understand better, here are a few images:
On "Page 0", clicking on the department button displayed the department-related segment (bookmark: Page0_dep_seg active). However, when I switch to "Page 1", the display doesn't show the right segments (bookmark: Page1_com_seg active instead of Page1_dep_seg).
I can also provide the bi test project if needed, but I don't know how to send it.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Ezaan
If my understanding is correct:
Page 0 - A slicer that applies filters to page 1 and Bookmarks to switch to page 1Page 1 - A hidden synced slicer and other visuals that you want to swap using the bookmark.
When creating the bookmarks did you use All Visals or Selected visuals?
And did you tick the Data option?
I suspect you have saved the entire page (i.e all the visuals) with their current filters. That means every time you switch the filters default to their saved state.
Easiest way to share a file, upload it to OneDrive, choose share, copy the link and add it to your post.
