My team has previously been able to apply filters across multiple pages in a report and save their selections as a bookmark.
Recently when I have tried to do the same the bookmark will only save the filter on the current page that I am on, and will not save the filter changes made to any other pages.
As such I am currently syncing a slicer across the pages to get the bookmark to work, though the only downside is that this is not reflected in the new filter pane feature. I would prefer to have the individual page filters saved via the bookmark so they can appear in the filter pane.

I think you are misunderstand for filter panel, filter panel is works for display different filters(visual,page, report level filters) which enabled.
AFAIK, slicer is a visual who has filter effect and works on dataview level, it is not a filter so it not display on filter panel.

I understand that there is a difference between the filter and the slicer functionality.
What I am hoping to achieve is pre-set page filters across muliple pages saved as a bookmark. The bookmark function is not currently allowing me to do this (it will only save the page filters of 1 page not all of them), though my team has previously been able to create bookmarks that save filters across multiple pages.
I was just saying that I used the slicer as a workaround for my problem.
