Hi Anonymous ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.
In addition to SolomonovAnton , I have added some more points.
1. Enable Map Visuals in Security Settings:
Go to File → Options and Settings → Options → Security . Ensure that Map and Geo visuals are enabled2. Switch Map Visual Type:
Try switching from Map to Azure Map or Filled Map, or vice versa — and see if rendering improves.3. Check Map Rendering Options:
Go to: File > Options and settings > Options .
Under Global > Security, scroll to Map and Filled Map visuals → Ensure "Use map and filled map visuals" is checkedNote: Also under Preview features, ensure Map visual updates are either enabled or disabled, depending on what your colleague has.
4. Check DPI and Display Scaling:
High DPI or display scaling issues can affect rendering: Right-click on your desktop > Display settings .Set Scaling to 100% (temporarily). Set Resolution to native display resolution. Restart Power BI5. Try the Same File in Another User Account on Your PC:
Sometimes user profile-specific settings affect behavior. Try opening the same .pbix file using another Windows user profile (or guest account) on your machine.6. Verify Map and Internet Connectivity:
Maps in Power BI use Bing Maps and require an active internet connection. Also make sure that Windows Location Services are enabled: Go to Windows Settings > Privacy > Location and turn on location access. Please refer community forum threads
