Blending excel file in sharepoint with existing power bi dataset

Hi All,

Can I connect excel file to my Power BI dataset? -  to source the report from multiple data sources, I have seen this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSyYegfA6PQ video but this function is still not available for me,  is this function requires premium account as i have PRO account , please help.

@akito , there is option in options and setting -> option -> preview  feature. Enable direct query for PBI dataset and AS.

Then in the modeling table, you will option to change the data model type to direct query. or you can do that when you add excel
