Blank Value Error in Data Source Change

Hello, I have a nicely worked dashboard with a firm's sales, raw material etc data. However I want to use this dashboard with different firm's excels so I try to change my data source. Although all my firms have same excel format, tables etc., I keep getting this error while I am trying to change my data source: "Column 'Revenue No' (Revenue No = 1234M45) in Table 'Sales' contains blank values and this is not allowed for columns on the one side of a many-to-one relationship or for columns that are used as the primary key of a table." I guess some firms don't have exact values in some tables and excel is giving "blank values". Could you please help me with this error? How can I change my source without getting this error? How can I overcome the problem caused by blank values in excel?

Please help me if you have any idea how to fix this. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Anonymous ,

What is the datatype of revenue? I'd assume it was numerical so I'm unsure why it would have a join on it in the datamodel? Have you a screengrab of your model that you can share?

Sorry, It must be "Revenue No"  it is a typo. They are kind of serie numbers for revenues such as "Mtk1234-M-678". New revenue no that I try to change is = "23462ML6438". Do you think that is the problem?

        Hi Anonymous

How did you try to change the New revenue no? Is it used to compose a part of the data source path?
