Between date slicer issue
1. Data Refresh Issue
Issue: The report might not be refreshing properly, causing outdated data to display.
Solution: Ensure the dataset is refreshed in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, and manually refresh it.
2. Cache or Browser Issue
Issue: Cached data in Power BI Service or browser may be delaying slicer updates.
Solution: Clear the cache, refresh the page (Ctrl + F5), or use an incognito window.
3. Date Column Data Type
Issue: The date column might not be recognized as a proper Date type.
Solution: Ensure the column format is set to "Date" instead of "Text" or "DateTime."
4. Slicer Default Selection
Issue: The slicer might be set to a fixed default selection instead of updating dynamically.
Solution: Manually adjust the slicer and consider creating a dynamic "Latest Date" measure.
5. Data Model Relationship Issue
Issue: The date slicer might be filtering based on a disconnected table.
Solution: Verify that the slicer is using a correctly related date column from the fact table.
6. Publishing Delay
Issue: Power BI Service may take time to reflect changes from Power BI Desktop.
Solution: After publishing, manually refresh the dataset and check for refresh failures.
7. Slicer Based on a Different Table
Issue: The slicer might be using a date table that lacks the latest date.
Solution: Ensure the slicer uses the correct date column from the fact table or a common date table.
8. Auto Date/Time Feature Interfering
Issue: Power BI’s "Auto Date/Time" feature may be generating hidden tables that interfere.
Solution: Disable "Auto Date/Time" under File → Options → Global → Data Load.
9. Filters Applied
Issue: Other filters in the report might be restricting the slicer’s date range.
Solution: Check and remove any unnecessary filters on visuals, slicers, or at the report level.
10. Timezone Differences
Issue: Data refreshed in a different timezone may cause date misalignment.
Solution: Adjust timezone settings in the data source or Power BI transformations.
