If the file is stored on the sharepoint youbshould use the sharepoint folder connector not the web connector.
Mayb you an have better performance.

You can use SharePoint folder connector to get all the files in this site, it will have a binary column which stores their file in Power Query Editor, when you click it, it will expand as a new table with a Data column with stores each file's data, you can click it to get these data when necessary to convert to a table in power query.
