Beginner: Trying to add a column to my matrix with a different value as the other columns

I'm new to this, but I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this. I've got a matrix with various company names for the row headers and dates (previous 10 days) across the top. I'm trying to add a column to the end with a different value, but when I do, it divides each date column in two.

Here is a screenshot with the company names hidden. I want to add a column to the right side that shows how many trailers each company has assigned to them. 

When I try to add another value, it adds a column for each date. Is it possible to have the new value column only appear once? I was able to place a table visualization on the right side which works, but they don't scroll together. Like I said, I'm a beginner here trying to learn, but I appreciate any insight!

The native matrix visual doesn't support that. You could try to create a Hybrid matrix visual as Amit has suggested.
