Hi,
I am new to Power BI (Started an hour ago) and am learning the ropes.
I would like to add a new calculated column in my report - when I do this will it create that column in the database I am connected to via direct query mode?
I just want the column to be available in my Power BI report and not be written to the database I am querying.
Thanks
Jonno

Power BI is Read Only, so it never create colums on your database.
