Beautifying the stacked bar chart - labels inside bars, aligning values to the right, colors

Hi, I would like to create a (stacked bar) chart similar to the one in the picture. The issues I’m encountering are:

  1. Lack of conditional formatting options in the stacked bar chart.
  2. Labels inside the columns rather than on the outside to the left.
  3. Aligning values to the right edge of the entire chart.

What I want to achieve seems straightforward, but there are some limitations in building this visualization. Do you have any tips on how to achieve this effect or any workarounds? I know it’s possible to create visualizations in Deneb, but it’s new to me, so if anyone has come across a similar example that required some modifications, I’d be grateful.

asparagus1_ I did a video on something similar that may help you out. If you can provide sample data, I can try giving your version a shot.

      Hi,

Thank you for your answer! I already know how to do what you described in the video. But maybe you know how to align data labels to the right?

  • Hi,

PowerBI offers 4 options for label placement in a Stacked Bar Chart.

I described the location in the image below.

Since there is more than one data in a bar, adding a label outside the bar seems non-standard.
