Hi Power BI Experts,
I was working on Data quality dashboard development. As per the requirement we should visualize bad and good data in one of the layer.
Currently We have a source table (in mysql) and using talend DQ tool backend team will apply the predefined rules based on different dimension (Accuracy, consitancy, uniqueness,Completeness ) to the corresponding columns in the mysql table and the result would be saved in some other database.
like this
Now we want to show bad and good data in the next layer. My plan was writing a view on top of source table data where we will use case statement to check those column satisfy the DQ rules and mark it as a column flag (0,1). After that we can simply use this view in next layer to visualize the good and bad data based on our flag.
So i was looking for some insight from you guys apart from this logic what i have.
i would appreciate if you have any suggestion
Thank you 🙂
What are you planning to do with the results of the report? Which action is it driving?
We are looking for create a dashboard for good and bad data of the source table where we apply the dimension rules. Already we have captured DQ score for the source table coressponading to the coulmn we have in the table, That is what i shown in the screen shot.
