Bar chart with data table

Can someone please let me know if there is a way to replicate the below chart in power BI? The only available chart with data table in power BI is the "Line and stacked column chart with table", but does not have capabilities to produce this particular chart.

I would really appreciate if someone could help with this as it is the only restriction forcing me using excel for data visualisation.

Many Thanks,

      Hello,

      Apologies for the late response.

The Line and stacked column chart - does not allow to add years as table headers on the data table. it automatically converts them into calculated stats (sum/count).

The data I am using to create the chart in excel is of the format:

      DateProduct IDProduct NameSales (USD)

      31/01/2020Product ID 1Product D1753
      31/01/2020Product ID 2Product E229
      31/01/2020Product ID 3Product C1458
      31/01/2020Product ID 4Product B222
      31/01/2020Product ID 5Product D174
      31/01/2020Product ID 6Product A1493
      31/01/2020Product ID 7Product A807
      31/01/2020Product ID 8Product B1126
      31/01/2020Product ID 9Product B1168
      31/01/2020Product ID 10Product B1577
      31/01/2020Product ID 11Product B415
      31/01/2020Product ID 12Product B971
      31/01/2020Product ID 13Product B234

I need to create the same chart on Power BI as the one in excel. I am not sure why this chart type is available in excel but not PBI?

        Hi Bill_Go ,

As far as I know, there is not an existing visual/a customer visual with function to show clustered column chart and table visual at the same time.

I think you can create a clustered column chart and a table visual, then group thems.

Or you can right click your clustered column chart and use "Show as a table" function.

        Result is as below.

Or you can to create your own custom visual at Charticulator or charts.powerbi.tips.

        Best Regards,
        Rico Zhou

Thank you for your quick response. I am aware of the chart you suggested but that doesn't give the desired results.

  • Good day dear, I am also trying to make a chart with table label in power bi, did you manage to solve?

      Hello,

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a solution for this in Power BI, but have been using Excel power query & power pivot.

  • Has Microsoft solved this yet? I know there is a custom visual in the shop but it doesn't resize well/limited on formatting. It just seems wild that this is only available in excel.
