Bar chart depending on two dates combined in one slider.

Hi all.
I have a Power Bi problem, I dont know if is possible to solve, so I hope you guys can help.

I have a date slider, which combine two date fields, OrderCreationDateTime and InvoiceDate. When i say combine, i made both sliders, made them sync, and then hide one of them. In my modeling I created a relation between the two tabels also.

Now to my problem.
I have two tabels:

Invoice dateTurnover
1/2-201200.00 EUR
1/2-20100.00 EUR
1/3-20247.00 EUR

OrderCreationDateOrderIntake
1/2-201500.00 EUR
2/2-201240.00 EUR
1/3-20124.00 EUR

I want to combine them both in one bar chart.
But I still want to have the possibility to show data, depending on years, month and days.

Right now the bar chart looks like this:

So there seems to be a problem, because the darker blue one dosent change value, eventhough i change the dates.
And the months is not adjusting either.

The value for the x-axis is OrderCreationDate, and for y-axis its turnover and orderintake value's.

Does any of you have a smart idea on how to solve this? 🙂

Thx in advance 🙂

@SofieSwensson , Create Common Date Table, join both with the date table.

If two tables join both dates to the common date table and the date of use of the date table

To get the best out of the time intelligence function. Make sure that you have a date calendar and that it has been marked as the date in the model view. Also, join her with the date column of your events. See :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your congratulations.

And if both dates are on a table

In join will be inactive, use userealtionship to measure

Hi @SofieSwensson ,

Has your problem been solved? Please provide a sample .pbix file, I tried to reproduce your problem but failed.

Or you can try @amitchandak 's solution, I also think you need to create a calendar table based on the two date columns.

Best regards,
Lionel Chen
