BI Table of DAX measure shows incorrect total

Hi I have a DAX measure that multiplies 2 values together
CapacitySum = MAX(BI_Location_Building_Data[Capacity])*SUM(BI_SurveyData[Utilised])
The individual rows calculates correctly
But the Total in the Power BI table is incorrect, how do I get the total to sum the column and not use the measure, see attached image

Hi @Garbo62 ,

I think it has something to do with your data model, try using calculated columns which will fetch data statically to some extent.

Column = [Capacity]*[Meetings]

Please feel free to correct me and provide more information if I have misunderstood you!

Hope it helps!

Hi @Garbo62

There are many articles about "wrong" totals in tables, maybe this article from Greg_Deckler can help you:

or this article from sqlbi:

Good luck
