Average of the number of items sold per month

I want to calculate an average of the number of items sold per month.
always taking into account the year and month filters.
if for example I have selected the months of April, May, June, July 2015 the calculation should be the quantity of items sold in that period between 4 months

Total Average = [Sales]/DISTINCTCOUNT(Pedidos[Fecha de pedido].[Mes])
