Average of Count Per Day

Hi,

I am attempting to take the average of a count per day. Essentially the "Stages Complete" is a count of the number of rows within the database that are stamped with the same date. I need an average of this count, that will roll as new dates come in.

The black column is my attempt at finding the average with

Column = AVERAGEX(VALUES(WVSTIMINT[DTTMEND].[day]),CALCULATE(COUNT(WVSTIMINT[INTREFNO])))

Thanks,

hi, @Anonymous

First, you should know that

1. Calculation column/table not support dynamic changed based on filter or slicer.
2. Measure can be affected by filter/slicer, so you can use it to get dynamic summary result.

here is reference:

Second, if you need to use ALLxxx functions in DAX.

Best Regards,

Lin
