I use a matrix visual to show multiple groups of data - each in a different row - for every month of the year. I would like to have a column with the average and the median of the year for each row after the Total column.
How can I do this? I tried to work with the median-function, but I guess I didnt fully understand it...couldn't make it work. Maybe someone can help. Thanks!
I have attached a sample for my problem: https://we.tl/t-FbSTPMJLY1
Hi @paulschneller ,
The file is not available any more. Can you show some sample data and expected result?
Best Regards,
Jay
Hi @Anonymous ,
I uploaded the files again - I guess wetransfer deletes them after some time: https://we.tl/t-fcF7wI8Qj9
In this example the average of Bundesland 3 should be 3 and the average of Bundesland 5 should be 4.
Hey @paulschneller ,
You can try using the Average/Median from clicking on the columns of the Values field that you have used. Pls refer the sceenshot for your reference.....
Cheers,
Deepan
@rajend12 Thanks for the suggestion. However I don't think we talk about the same here. I need to do a count AND then need the average/median of the counted values.
It's possible to do that but it will be rather convoluted and include a lot of custom measures.

@BIBen That is a little bit above my paygrade. 😉
Would it be easier, if the average/median would be in an own table/matrix?
