Hello,
I have two tables with these columns and I want to calculate the (average) number of applicants per requisition/divison/company etc. (I will do this via filter in the dashboard):
REQ Report
| ID | Status | Open date | closed date |
| 123456 | Open | 15.05.2024 | |
| 123455 | Closed | 15.01.2024 | 15.03.2024 |
CANDIDATE Report
| ID | Status | Open date | closed date | candidate id | application date |
| 123456 | Open | 15.05.2024 | 123456789 | 16.05.2024 | |
| 123455 | Closed | 15.01.2024 | 15.03.2024 | 14567809 | 15.01.2024 |
Hi @checkner ,
Ensure that your REQ and CANDIDATE tables are correctly related in your Power BI model. Typically, this would be through the field.
and then you can create a measure:
Applicants Count = COUNTROWS('CANDIDATE')
Next, create a measure to calculate the average number of applicants per requisition. This measure will use the previously created measure
Average Applicants = AVERAGEX(VALUES('REQ'[ReportID]), [Applicants Count])
Best Regards,
Xianda Tang
